How Should I Store My Coffee?

Avoid Refrigeration or Freezing: Coffee’s biggest enemies are moisture, air, cold temperatures, and light—all of which your refrigerator provides. We package our coffee in lined, vacuum-sealed bags with a one-way valve that allows CO2 to escape during the degassing process while keeping oxygen out.

Minimize Oxygen Exposure: Oxygen can quickly degrade coffee’s freshness. When resealing the bag, try to press out as much air as possible.

Store in a Cool, Dark Place: Keep your coffee at room temperature and away from light to maintain its quality.

Grind Just Before Use: Ground coffee loses its freshness rapidly, so we recommend grinding your beans just before brewing.

Optional: Invest in an AirScape Container: For those who take their coffee seriously, we recommend using an AirScape container, available on Amazon. While not necessary, it’s a great option for coffee enthusiasts like us at Tuckster’s Coffee Roasters.
